hello friends,
i am thrilled to introduce you to the first ever guest gardener of the plant matter newsletter, my dear friend and multi-hyphenate queen, sara weinreb!
i like to think of the little links i share here as seeds for you to choose from and tend to as you please, and every so often i’d love to hand over the gardening gloves to someone i admire so they can sprinkle in a few of their own. sara has in fact been the one to introduce me to many a link i’ve included, so i thought it only fitting that she be our inaugural guest.
i’ll let sara introduce herself and the (many!) beautiful things she’s cultivated in the world below. i think you’ll find the harvest as fruitful as i did (sorry, that may have been one metaphor too far) 👩🌾
hey! i’m sara — i’m a facilitator, writer, strategist, and herbalist. i am also the founder of imby, a virtual community center for folks working towards a more liberatory future. i write a newsletter called this, that, and the other, which is home to my weekly rambles on creativity, capacity, and why capitalism sucks. i’m a big fan of plant matter, an honored to curate today’s links with things i’ve been enjoying and thinking about.
drooling over sotela’s new jardín collection, i think i want one of each?
